The nut tins launch opened doors to a category we had never performed in before, this meant we had to try our best to standout alongside a whole new aisle of competitors.
For this launch, we worked very hard to deliver flavour through pack.
The Pesto range launched back in 2018. It was key for us to be able to make the labels different enough for consumers not to confuse these products with our standard pastes as both categories shared the same jar and product appearance.
In order to make this happen, we decided to colour the labels. The colour used for each pesto reflects the main ingredient’s colour to help consumers navigate through the range and for visibility at point of purchase.
When the Ketchup project popped up I had the freedom to bring some character to these new products.
After some thought, I realised that when I think of Ketchup, America comes to mind. This is why I decided to go for a retro American diner concept while still keeping the strong Belazu essence.

For Christmas 2022 we were tasked to develop three carrier boxes for Waitrose and Belazu’s web sales.
The idea behind it was to bring Mediterranean tiles to life with striking, colourful boxes that would catch consumer’s eyes whilst bringing the essence of the brand forth.
