The Selectra Project
My Role
Design Manager. During this time I ran a team of 2, directed Selectra’s visual identity, acted as brand guardian and performed as the company’s main visual designer.
Selectra in 2023,
what’s the problem?
A multinational that has been running since 2007, Selectra helps consumers find the best utility bills for their homes supplies. With the intention of achieving 100m€ in revenues in 2023, its a bit surprising that not many people have heard of them. Potential consumers would interact with the website and think it was built by bots, it didn’t generate any trust and consumers had the feeling they’d get scammed.
What do we do?
BRANDING
The first step is evaluating the current design system and up to date artworks to identify the main issues and present solutions.
Website
We started designing new banners for the website, accentuating offers, tips or highlighting the subject of the articles with more on brand colours, human visuals and clearer messaging.

Mailing
Selectra’s light blue didn’t help it stand out, which is why we made a applied a darker shade in our visuals. Our new image had to be cohesive in all touch points not to confuse customers while allowing them to recognise us more and more.
Social Media
Selectra’s feed helps consumers understand their homes better, it’s simple and direct.
Corporate Material
To achieve best results possible, we decided to avoid human visuals and adapted Selectra’s isometrics to modern icons.
SEA
Selectra’s business takes its revenue from generating leads and signing contracts for their partners, living the social media era, we need to attract’s potential customer’s attention through SEA.
Christmas Card
This year’s card for suppliers and clients represents most precious treasure we can give you: time.
Selectra Plus
Still under development, Selectra launched a premium service. Via personalised studies they intend to help customers optimise their home bills on a regular basis.
